Demand for services to increase

According to a recent survey from the Nonprofit Finance Fund 85% of organizations expect demand for services to increase in 2011.  However, only 46% expect they’ll be able to meet the demand.

The value of a volunteer’s time

According to a recent article in the Philanthropy Journal, in 2010 a volunteer’s time was worth (on average) $21.36 per hour.  That’s up from $20.85 in 2009.
