Comcast bullies nonprofit

According to a story in the Washington Post, Comcast yanked their funding ($18,000) from Seattle-based nonprofit Reel Grrls.  Apparently Comcast was less than amused when, via titter, Reel Grrls criticized FCC Commissioners Baker’s move to Comcast.

After the Washington Post story went live Comcast offered to re-establish funding.  Reel Grrls said no thanks.

Here’s the offending tweet:

“OMG! @FCC Commissioner Baker voted 2 approve Comcast/NBC merger & is now lving FCC for A JOB AT COMCAST?!? #mediajustice”
