Fellow CPRA Members:
Thank you for your continuing support of the goals and activities of our professional association, the Colorado Professional Researchers for Advancement. The CPRA board has three vacancies to fill for the remainder of 2013 and 2014 terms of office that will run through the end of 2014. Do you know a candidate who has a demonstrated ability to lead others, a track record of committee or other volunteer service, a strong interest in prospect research and philanthropy, the ability to communicate effectively, and reliability in following through on commitments and meeting deadlines.
Please give this request your serious consideration.? Don’t hesitate to nominate yourself if you want to join in making CPRA a wonderful organization.? Serving on the board will provide opportunities for you to develop your leadership skills. I and the other returning board members also promise to provide continuing support to you as a new board officer.
Please use the attached form to nominate yourself or a colleague for one of the current vacancies on the board.? You may nominate as many people as you like, but please place each nominee on a separate nominating form.? Send your nominations to me either by email or fax no later than Friday, March 15th, 2013 by 5pm. You are encouraged to discuss your nomination with the candidate prior to submission to determine his or her interest and willingness to potentially serve as a member of the CPRA Board.
The current CPRA Board will review all nominations received by the deadline to determine the slate of candidates that will be presented to the membership for the election on March 18th, 2013. We expect to have the vacant positions filled by March 31, 2013.
