Position Concept
Mile High United Way is seeking a Research and Data Manager who will manage research strategy and provide research and reporting on current donors and prospects employing data integrity and donor database best practices in our Donor Relations Department.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on individual and corporate prospects.
  • Prepare executive briefings for prospect meetings for volunteers and staff.
  • Manage prospect pipeline strategy.
  • Assist with development of donor cultivation strategies.
  • Compose and handle correspondence and reports, as required, while adhering to principles of confidentiality for front line fundraisers, volunteers and executive staff.
  • Manage donor data processes to ensure data integrity and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent relevant work experience. They will have 5 years of non-profit fundraising experience with at least 3 years prospect research experience. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to succinctly present pertinent information to a wide variety of audiences; strong attention to detail; and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Success in the position will depend on the ability to work well under pressure, be flexible, creative, enthusiastic and have a high energy level.
