Margaret (Meg) Kinney
Development Research Analyst
University of Colorado

Meg Kinney started as a Development Research Analyst at the University of Colorado in 2013, and has been a Senior Development Research Analyst since 2016. She earned her M.L.S. from Indiana University and worked at several libraries in a reference capacity before going into prospect research. She holds a B.A. in English from Amherst College.

Nii Martey is Associate Director of Prospect Development at Colorado State University, in Fort Collins, Colorado. He has served as a prospect researcher with Regis University, and consulted as an independent researcher. Nii studied International Relations at the University of Pennsylvania for his B.A., and subsequently spent almost a decade involved in linguistic analysis and information retrieval research with the non-profit Linguistic Data Consortium. Nii has been a CPRA member for several years and has a strong interest in advancing the reach of CPRA and building the community of researchers in Colorado. Nii thoroughly enjoys the challenges and learning opportunities found by interacting with a wide variety of non-profits, and the varied communities and missions that that they serve.

Gillian Kennedy

Gillian Kennedy has served as the Researcher at The SUN Foundation since 2015. Previously she served as the Director of Advancement Research at Ohio Dominican University from 2007-2014. Her other positions include Research Assistant at Ohio Dominican University and Assistant to the Vice President of Advancement and Director of Corporate Relations at Villa Julie College, Stevenson, Maryland. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Genetics from the University of Liverpool. Kennedy resides in Highlands Ranch, CO.

Andrea Holland
Prospect Management Analyst
University of Colorado

Andrea Holland is a Prospect Management Analyst in the University of Colorado’s Central Advancement Office, where she started as a Research & Development Assistant in December 2013. Andrea joined CPRA in 2013 and joined the board as Professional Development Director in August 2016. She helped create and build an advanced and innovative Prospect Management program for CU and loves to learn about and implement new ideas and programs to further CU’s cause and ability to effect change in the world. Andrea earned her M.L.I.S. degree from San Jose State University and holds a B.A. in History from Humboldt State University.

Cynthia Haynes-Williams

Cynthia Haynes-Williams most recently served as the Manager of Research and Prospect Management of Mile High United Way. She has over 20 years in the fundraising community, serving as a Manager of Development Research and Associate Director of Prospect Research; and has held that responsibility at Denver Museum of Nature and Science, National Jewish Health, Colorado School of Mines and Tennyson Center for Children. Cynthia has been a member of CPRA since 1995 and served as a board member, CPRA Treasurer (1998-1999). Cynthia continues to provide guidance to prospect research mentees in our CPRA Mentoring Program. Prior to her entering prospect research she worked in the library industry for cumulative 12 years at the Denver Public Library and Dayton Memorial Library at Regis University. A native Coloradan, Cynthia is also a graduate of Regis University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in business management.

Chelsea O’Neil

The Nature Conservancy, Colorado Chapter

Chelsea O’Neil is a Prospect Research Analyst for the Colorado chapter of the Nature Conservancy. Prior to joining TNC in 2016, she served as a Prospect Identification Analyst on the Analytics team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Her other past positions include Research Analyst for Prospect Identification and Analytics at Dana Farber Cancer Center and Prospect Research Analyst at UConn. Chelsea earned a BA in Psychology from UConn and an MS in Nonprofit Management from Northeastern University.

Robby Tabuchi

Senior Prospect Development Analyst
University of Wyoming Foundation

Robby Tabuchi is the Senior Prospect Development Analyst at the University of Wyoming Foundation. He joined the Prospect Development team at UW in 2015 and has continued to provide major support for the development of data analytic processes in the organization. Robby earned a BS with majors in Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics from Colorado Mesa University. He has continued his education at UW, studying Data Science and Applied Statistics. In his spare time, Robby enjoys fishing, hiking, and generally taking advantage of the Wyoming and Colorado outdoor recreation.

Prior to joining CSU as a Senior Analyst in Prospect Development, Michelle Deschenes was a Prospect Researcher at the Indiana University Foundation in Bloomington, Indiana, where she supported a variety of university units with a focus on the arts. Also while in Bloomington, Michelle served on the board of The Writers Guild at Bloomington and was a member of Apra International and Apra-IN. She has undergraduate and graduate degrees in writing and it remains one of her passions.
