Philanthropy Journal has posted an article about the results Cygnus Applied Research’s most recent survey.  Cygnus’ conclusion:  The bottom line is that fundraisers are “leaving money on the table.”

Demand for services to increase

According to a recent survey from the Nonprofit Finance Fund 85% of organizations expect demand for services to increase in 2011.  However, only 46% expect they’ll be able to meet the demand.

Saying one thing and doing another

According to a new survey conducted by NonProfit Times and Infogroup/Nonprofit, donors say education is their top priority. But, it isn’t really true.  When it comes time send in cash religious groups get the lion’s share.
